who we are

simPal is a national service supporting those affected by Cancer.

This unique organisation aims to help lessen the economic and social isolation felt by many following a cancer diagnosis, allowing them to keep in touch with family and friends, by providing free calls/texts/data and handsets where required.

The simPal service is the result of a dynamic partnership between, Blair Papworth, founder of C4C Mobile and Chris Lewis, founder of Chris’s Cancer Community. Both have very personal experiences of the impact of cancer in their lives. They wanted to improve the lives of people living with and beyond cancer, and decided to collaborate, using their extensive experiences and contacts, to help others.

The service is currently operating throughout the UK, with plans to expand into Europe and America in the near future.

When I received my life changing cancer diagnosis, my first thoughts turned to my finances! I was self-employed and my treatment was long term. How was I going to pay my bills? I was in hospital for a long time and my mobile phone bills were horrible! Unfortunately simPal was not around then but I would have felt much more comfortable not worrying about that issue.

I am therefore delighted to be able to help others like me now, with this exciting scheme!
