SimPal features on the BBC national news!!

Recently we received a call from the BBC asking us if we would like to feature on a new piece they were doing about cancer poverty. They had seen our work and wanted to show people what we are doing. It was a real honour for us to meet up with Sue and Geoff Southworth, who were one of the first families we supported. Chris went to Blackpool to meet them in person, which was an extremely emotional moment, which was captured on film.

This very brief piece put us into the public domain and benefitted from donations and offers of help from across the country. As a small charity it is very difficult to get publicity, but this piece has certainly helped raise awareness of what we do across the country.

An interview with the BBC talking about cancer poverty and the issues that people affected by cancer face. Featuring an example of SimPal work
