SimPal is delighted to announce Zac Toumazi... our first ambassador.
Zac said, “I am honoured to be simPal’s first ever ambassador and will do all I can to help this amazing charity make a difference by raising awareness, engaging corporate partners, and indeed, anything that the charity needs.”
Zac Toumazi was born in Elephant and Castle, London. His Greek Cypriot heritage heavily influences his family values. He was educated at Kingsdale School in Dulwich, after which he moved onto SELTC in Lewisham and studied catering and hospitality. After falling in love with the industry and working for 14 years as a professional chef, he decided to retrain in the financial sector. There, he spent 15 years fulfilling senior roles with Citigroup and Goldman Sachs.
Zac was at Surrey County Cricket Club for six years, and as Group Commercial Director, played a major role in developing the commercial side at the Oval. He then moved to the position of Group Commercial Director of Hampshire Cricket Club, in 2011, where he was pivotal to the staging of their first test match and negotiating the AGEAS Bowl ground naming rights. Later, he was appointed as the Chief Executive at the Sussex County Cricket Club in January 2013.
He spent four years at Sussex before deciding to retire in 2017. Zac’s number one priority is his family, and his retirement now allows him to keep fit, travel, provide non Exec business consultancy and support the Rainbow Trust Children’s Charity where he is a patron.
