New Year, New Powerhouse: Meet Annette Brown

2026 is here, and we are hitting the ground running. As our charity scales, so does the need for world-class expertise to guide us. We need leaders who understand the landscape, and frankly, there isn’t much in the tech world that Annette Brown hasn’t mastered.

Annette has been a quiet force behind our mission for some time, but today we are thrilled to officially welcome her as our newest Charity Ambassador. She brings a wealth of business experience that is critical as our support network expands across sectors.

She is already making waves. Working with our partners at 1823, Annette was the architect behind vital new partnerships in the legal IT sector. The result? A pipeline of surplus laptops and phones that are already changing the lives of vulnerable people in the UK. She isn’t just extending the life of tech; she is ending digital poverty for those who need us most.

Annette Brown is an experienced technology leader with a strong track record of driving innovation and strategic growth in the tech and legal sectors. As Director of Intuition(ab) Limited, she oversees the company’s vision, by organising wine tasting events that bring senior tech leaders and disruptive technologies together, leveraging cutting-edge technology solutions to enhance business operations and client engagement. In her role as Chief Technology Officer for the Social Mobility Business Partnership, Annette is committed to empowering the next generation of talent through impactful digital initiatives aimed at increasing diversity and access to opportunities through work insight weeks.

Previously, Annette served as Head of IT at Milbank LLP, where she led transformative IT strategies that supported global operations.  Known for her dynamic leadership and expertise in IT infrastructure, Annette is passionate about technology’s potential to drive social change and deliver tangible value in both business and community settings. With a unique blend of technical acumen, leadership experience, and a forward-thinking approach to technology, Annette continues to shape the future of both corporate and social initiatives.
