Places for People are a not for profit housing organisation, providing homes across the country.
I work in Stonebridge Park Hostel, 27 bedroom, in Bristol, where we house a variety of male only “customers” of various ages (over 22), with complex needs.
We work with our clients towards gaining independence. We support them to address any issues they have with addiction, mental health, or financial, amongst a whole wrath of other difficulties, including some entrenched rough sleepers. We hope that we can move them on eventually, into their own accommodation. They can stay with us for up to two years, and the hostel is staffed 24/7, by four core support workers and five core night workers.
