We Welcome a New Trustee!

What an incredible year it has been for SimPal! We are filled with pride for the amazing team we are building, and today, our team grows stronger.

We are thrilled to announce our latest Trustee, the incredible Megan Simpson!

Megan brings a powerful background in both healthcare and technology. After a career in innovation, she has spent the last five years working in digital health, most recently as the Chief Commercial Officer at Tired of Cancer.

It was through her work that Megan first encountered SimPal. Witnessing the widening digital health gap firsthand, she knew that simply raising awareness wasn’t enough. When she reached out to our founder, Chris, there was an immediate connection on values and a shared ambition: to create a future where people are better served.

After years of supporting us from the sidelines, Megan is proud and excited to step into her role as a Trustee. She radiates positivity, creativity, and holds people-focused work at the centre of everything she does.

Her goal is to utilise these skills as well as the wonderful SimPal team surrounding her to help the charity grow even further and make even more meaningful impact on the digital divide.

Megan joins us at a pivotal moment. We could never have imagined that SimPal would become the UK’s only national digital support service for vulnerable people, with organisations like the #NHS and #CitizensAdvice among our biggest customers. This rapid growth presents new challenges, and we’re focused on scaling sustainably to meet the demand.

We are all on an exciting journey to improve the lives of people in #DigitalPoverty. With Megan added to our team, let’s see where we can go!
